HELLO FROM IDAHO

Yes, you heard me right.

Idaho. A very red state and contrary in that manner to my leanings, but a very beautiful state she is.

I have not posted in way too long. Facebook is down.

So, there you go....a reason for not blogging here.

It feels like 26 degrees and wind is the reason.

Wind is the norm in Idaho, especially in Spring (which hasn't occurred yet, but what the heck, practice makes perfect, right?).

My year has started with a very sad loss. My mom has passed on (end of January). It was a highly thought provoking experience. 

I miss my mom, deeply. She has taught me all my life. The good, the bad and the confusing parts all made for a fantastic bonding.

I find I cope, then fall apart, then see her in myself and glad of it. Glad of it all. It taught me not to take time for granted and to always say the important "stuff" to those you love, so they don't forget how you feel.
