Call me Scrooge or any name that resembles my temperament/attitude. I just don't have the HOHOHO spirit, the laugh jolly jiggles or the energy to put up anything on the mantle except the Christmas cards received from fine people. Cooking is only the normal fare. There are no wrapped packages, or many trinkets laying about.
OH, did I mention my mom is here.
Yep.
Do love her, don't get me wrong. Just have to sort of watch my p's and q's.
It will be nice to get out of this theoretical girdle. Oh the binding!
Good cheer to all!!

So....no followers..okay..I will talk to the air
My insights on war, hate (all the same, love is not war and war is just hateful).
Was watching a video on FB that a friend posted. Lennon's war is over, with the scenes of war.
It is incomprehensible to me.
Why is war acceptable?
Why does it become justifiable?
I know that my version of life is the impossible "Utopia".
A life of NOT labeling people, not judging people through visual, mental or any means possible....That is impossible for humans.
I swear if we were all born blind we would still classify eachother into groups!!!
Some days, I just get so sick of it!

My life as I know it...piece by piece
So, I was the first girl in fifty years on my Dad's side. My fifteen minutes of fame even put me in an article of a paper or two.
Dad was an electrician and Mom, bookkeeping.
Raised to believe all humans are the same species and that attention to oneself was only achieved when one did something wrong...what a lonely thing to do.
Don't get me wrong. The folks were alright. Humor was a big part of life for us, and food as well. Family gatherings, over indulgences and so on.
What can I say......guilt was also served well, too.
there will be more............
